Staffing Zones are responsible for the daily human resource functions associated with all schools and central departments. Functions include hiring, transfers, separations, and promotions. These employment actions are overseen by each staffing director and executed by their support staff. 

Staffing Zones work closely with district principals and other hiring managers to ensure that the most highly qualified employees become and remain part of Fulton County Schools. Each Staffing Zone is attached to a particular group of schools that include elementary, middle, and high schools. The work done in each zone is critical to all human resource activities in our schools and central offices.
