Hardship Transfer Information
Applications for a hardship transfer are reviewed annually by the Fulton County School System. Through this process, parents can seek a transfer for medical reasons, curriculum differences, child care situations or if they are an employee of the school system.
Information about the application process is released in the winter (usually in early January) with a spring deadline to return applications to the school system’s Student Assignment Office. No exceptions or extensions can be granted. Hardships are only reviewed and granted during this time period.
