Risk Management Department (Team)
It is the mission of the Risk Management Department (Team) to identify and protect the Districts physical, human, fiscal, and liability exposures from accidental loss and is committed to developing programs that identify and manage the potential risk exposures of Fulton County Schools.
The Risk Management Department (Team) is comprised of three fulltime employees; Lucious Rounsaville, Risk Manager, Sherry Brewer ,Workers Comp Specialist, and Treva Wright, Risk Management Claims Specialist. The Team will share the services of Valencia Scott, PA lll for Safety and Security. The Divisions of the Risk Management Department (Team) are: Risk Management, Claims and Workers Compensation. The Team serves as a resource to all FCS employees, Staff and Board members on any and all Risk Management/Insurance, Claims, and Worker’s Compensation related issues and as a resource to citizens/parents/guardians regarding visitor/student accidents, student accident insurance, and/or any incident/claim involving citizen/parent/student for bodily injury and/or property damage. The Team works closely with the Districts Attorneys on all settlement(s) and litigated matters.
