The Communications Department focuses on two-way communication with schools, departments, parents, citizens and the community at-large. The department consists of Communications and Broadcast & Video Technology (which includes FCSTV, the district's cable channel).

The mission of the Fulton County School System is to educate students to be responsible, productive citizens. Its vision is to enable all children to learn to their full potential in a safe, nurturing environment.

To that end, it is the goal of the Communications Department to help connect schools and the community by every means possible. We value open, honest communication with all stakeholders, and believe in positive working relationships with parents, employees, community members, business leaders and representatives of the news media. We believe that public education is stronger when all stakeholders are well-informed and involved in issues affecting Fulton County schools.
